Assigning an asset to a new company - restrictions 4 Years ago
Hi,

We are considering creating a new company and assigning a company asset, such as software ipr, to it. The new company would be owned by different people from the one that currently owns the asset. Effectively this would devalue the assets held by shareholders in the original company (i.e. which previously owned the ipr). Is there anything that prevents us from doing this?

Thanks.
