Hi, I'am looking to start a comapny.

What are the genral thing's I should do to start and setup a company.

I have looked at some Website offering services and package deals to help setup - Are they a good way to go about starting a company ?

Any information would be great.

You can buy a conmpany straight off the internet for about £50.00 which will give you a name and number.

You would then need to tailor it to suit your own purposes: Change the name, adopt new articles, issue shares and chnage resgitered office etc.

You will also need to notify the Revenue, register for PAYE and possibly VAT depending on turnover.

Do not forget about insurances - professional indemnity, employee liability and public liability.
