can you please expain the following sentence in layman terms an offer which is expressly or implicitly made subject to some conditions can not be accepted if the condition fails. i have an exam tomorrow so would appreciate your help and an example too would be greatly appreciated thanks tanz

Looking for, and recording the problems they are causing will help you clarify your course of action. Some will be utterly incapable of their position. Others will just have a bad attitude. Knowing the root cause of their behaviour and lack of performance will aid ... If an employee will not take your offer of self-retirement, you just have to ask them to leave. You have prepared enough documentation to defend yourself if they choose to give you trouble.

Offers may be terminated in any one of the following ways: Revocation of the offer by the offeror; counteroffer by offeree; rejection of offer by offeree; lapse of time; death or disability of either party; or performance of the contract becomes illegal after the offer is made.
