Can someone please help clarify an issue regarding financial assistance/the settlement of fees for completion accounts relating to the purchase of a private limited company.
On 1st September 2008, a majority shareholding was acquired in a small private company. There was a delay in preparation of the completion accounts as at the completion date and they were not supplied to the purchaser until December 2008. Is it permissable under the provisions of the Companies Act for the liability for the accounting fees for the completion accounts to be met by the company?
