Company Law Forum aims to provide members with news and information, a diary of events, useful web _link_s, and forums in which to offer opinions and discuss all matters of company law.
The site also provides the opportunity for users to network, form new business contacts, reinforce existing relationships, and revive old ones.
This can be achieved easily through the Connections function.
Using it couldn’t be simpler:
1. Browse the members’ directory. 2. Click on user with whom you wish to connect. 3. You will be taken the person’s profile. 4. Choose the ‘request’ option in the Connections drop-down menu. 5. Type a greeting into the pop-up window 6. Click ‘Submit’.
The member you’ve chosen will be alerted by email and given the choice to accept or reject your connection request.
In turn, you’ll be alerted to their decision.
The ‘manage’ option in your own profiles Connections drop-down allows you see which of your requests are pending and which of your established connections are online.
You can also add private comments about each person with whom you’ve connected, and you can even assign them a ‘type’ (colleague, friend, business associate, etc).
An email function allows you to send private messages.
