I'm interested in the legality and use of pips(personal improvement palns)within companies. Are there set procedures to be followed or can they use them as they see fit without any prior notification or guidelines. The present climate is not a pleasant one and a few people have voiced concerns regarding pips and the use of. Horror stories tell that companies shouldn't use pips unless they intend "sacking",reports of 20% of people only survivning pips all help heighten the fear factor involved. They seem to echo constructive dismial when used in certain ways. Any advice,websites for advice appreciated..thanks.
