Hi
I am having great difficulty in establishing the legal position of a company that has neither a Company Secretary nor directors. This company was registered at Companies House in April 2008 with named directors. The directors resigned in September 2008 and at present there are no other records of directors at Companies House. The company still continues to operate (they actually work as car towers/clampers in the North of England).
Can someone please tell me if the company is operating legally and if not what is the relevant legislation?
I have contacted Companies House who refer me to BERR, who then refer me to Trading Standards who refer me to Companies House!
I thought this would have been a simple question!?
Anyone's help would be appreciated.
