A recent EGM called by 10 members of a Society was followed-up by submission of several resolutions. Each resolution was proposed and seconded by 10 members and duly submitted to the Society's Secretary. The EGM Agenda and full details of the draft resolutions were issued to all members. A week before the EGM, the committee decided to publish the mames of the proposer and seconders to the membership to enable the committee to freely lobby the proposer and secconders to withdraw the resolutions. On previous occaisions, wher the committee itself submitted resolutions at an AGM, the original draft proposals with names & signatures were displayed at the event, only the draft resolutions without names and signatures were issued.
By publishing the names of proposers and seconders then contacting them to persuade them to withdraw is this a breach of trust?
Sorry for a long winded question...........thanks
