The Companies Act 2006 (Index of Company Names and Consequential Provisions relating to Limited Partnerships Act 1907) Order 2009 come into force on 1 October 2009 and apply to all limited partnerships, including investment funds. These regulations bring aspects of limited partnership law on names and registration into line with company law as in the Companies Act 2006.
